Q11 Sample Answer

Response 1 (Agree):

“I agree that online learning is better than classroom learning in many situations. First, it is more flexible because students can study anytime and anywhere. Second, it saves time and money since there is no need to commute. In addition, many online courses provide recorded lessons, so students can review the material whenever they need. For these reasons, I believe online learning is a better option for many people.”

Response 2 (Disagree):

“I disagree with the idea that online learning is better than classroom learning. In a classroom, students can interact directly with teachers and classmates, which makes learning more engaging. It is also easier to ask questions and receive immediate feedback. Furthermore, the classroom environment helps students stay focused and motivated. Therefore, I think classroom learning is more effective.”

Response 3

“While online learning offers convenience and flexibility, I believe classroom learning is more beneficial overall. Face-to-face interaction allows students to participate in discussions, collaborate with classmates, and receive instant support from instructors. Moreover, being in a classroom reduces distractions and encourages active learning. As a result, I think traditional classroom education provides a more effective learning experience.”

Sample response

There are many ways for expatriates who do not speak French

to find a job in France. In your opinion, what is the most

effective way for them to get employed, and why?

There are many ways for expatriates who do not speak French to find jobs in France. In my opinion, the most effective way is to use online job platforms combined with professional networking, especially through international communities and job fairs.

Firstly, online job platforms are very helpful because they allow job seekers to access a large number of opportunities in English. Websites such as LinkedIn, APEC, and Indeed are widely used in France and often include positions in international companies where English is accepted. These platforms also allow users to filter jobs by language requirements, making the search more efficient for non-French speakers.

Secondly, networking is extremely important for expatriates. Many companies in France prefer candidates who are recommended by someone they trust. By joining expat communities, attending professional events, and connecting with recruiters online, foreigners can discover job opportunities that are not always publicly advertised.

In addition, attending job fairs is another effective method. Many international job fairs in cities like Paris bring together recruiters from multinational companies that are open to English-speaking candidates. These events allow job seekers to directly meet employers, ask questions, and make a strong first impression, which can significantly increase their chances of being hired.

Furthermore, organizations like France Travail can also provide support, although their services are often more effective for French speakers. Organization such as the OECD may also offer opportunities in an international environment where English is commonly used.

In conclusion, the best way for non-French-speaking expatriates to find a job in France is to combine online job platforms, networking, and participation in job fairs. This approach increases access to opportunities and improves the chances of being hired.
